A 1 ton inverter at the accessible end of the Chillex range, and the most economical way into a proper DC inverter on our floor.

Who it suits

At 1.0 tons, the Dawlance Chillex Inverter 15 is sized for a bedroom or small office, roughly 120 to 150 sq ft. Undersizing an air conditioner is the most common mistake we see: a unit that is too small runs flat out, never quite gets there, and costs more to run than the correct size would have. If you are unsure which capacity your room needs, bring the room dimensions to the counter and we will work it out with you.

Inverter running cost

A DC inverter compressor varies its speed to hold the room at temperature, instead of switching fully on and fully off the way a conventional unit does. In practice that means fewer hard starts, quieter running once the room is cool, and a noticeably lower electricity bill over a season. It also means less strain on your wiring at start-up, which is worth having on an older connection.

Finish is white. The price is Rs 115,000 in cash, and that is the number you will be quoted at the counter as well. We do not price one figure online and another in person, and we do not mark up so there is room to haggle back down. We deliver and install across Kallar Kahar, Chakwal and Rawalpindi, and warranty claims are handled here at the shop rather than sending you to a service centre.
