What T3 changes

T3 is a compressor climate rating, not a marketing badge. A standard compressor loses cooling capacity as outdoor ambient climbs, so the unit runs longer and longer to hold the same room temperature on the hottest afternoons, exactly when you need it most. A T3 compressor is specified to hold output at high ambient. On a shaded north wall you may never notice. On an exposed installation you will.

Sizing

1 ton, roughly 12,000 BTU/h, for a bedroom or small office of about 120 to 150 square feet. Reversible, so it heats in winter as well as cooling in summer.
