Description

The Hyper T3 sits on Dawlance’s newer twin-rotary T3 platform, and it is the most efficient unit in this group: 3.5 W/W cooling at a 6.7A draw, against 8A on the Chillex and 10A on the Dual Pro.

Super Cool

Rated 18,000 BTU/h cooling and heating, but Super Cool raises compressor speed to deliver roughly 22,000 BTU/h when you need a room down fast. You get 1.5 ton running economy most of the time with close to 2 ton output on call, which is a genuinely useful arrangement for a room that sits shut and hot all day.

Ampere Lock and solar

Ampere Lock lets you cap the current the unit is allowed to draw. Set a limit and it works within it rather than tripping your breaker or overloading a shared circuit. The unit is also rated solar compatible, so it will run off an alternate supply, and it starts on voltage as low as 150V.

Cooling and air

Twin rotary T3 compressor, which runs quieter than a single rotary at the same output. Cooling efficiency 3.5 W/W, heating 3.06 W/W, heating current 6.0A. Four-dimensional airflow swings both horizontally and vertically so the room cools evenly rather than in a cone. R32 refrigerant.

Upkeep

Gold Fin on both coils against corrosion, self-cleaning evaporator, and memory resumption so it returns to your last settings after a power cut rather than defaulting. WindBlast, Jet Cool and sleep mode are all present.
